What's the deal with avatars

I can't seem to upload any pictures at all as my avatar. I've tried a couple formats (jpg, png) and sizes and nothing works.

Are you just trying to change your avatar? It looks like you have one now. But I just tried to change mine and it's failing miserably.

I tried for like an hour once. Didn't work, so I let it go. Brown pixels it is.

It's not working via the 'Account Settings' option right now. We'll get that fixed.

In the mean time, if you go to your blog page and select "Manage " then click the assets tab, you should be able to upload an avatar here.

It says it uploaded it and I see it when I upload it there, but it's still the same old one on my posts.
